The Lexi’s Summer Film School for young people is back for 2026! Spend a week watching fantastic movies on our big screen, before getting hands on learning filmmaking skills from industry pros. A great chance for film-fans to be inspired and flex those creative muscles over the summer holidays!

Course Leader: Harley Viveash
Harley is an actor, writer, director and educator based in Stoke Newington. He has worked extensively with young people across London, teaching performance skills and literary analysis. As an actor, since training at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, he’s worked across stage, television, and voice-over. For the past eight years he has been part of the Lexi team, and has led the Summer Film School programme since 2024.

Our programming team bring you a curated weekly release that didn't get the attention it deserved here. Some may be films we missed from earlier this year, some may be from a few years ago, but they're all exceptional films which we think our audience will adore.
Bora reunite for more unmissable Brazilian cinema at The Lexi Cinema in partnership with Cine Brazil!
Throughout August we're screening 4 Brazilian classics from the 2000s, and in September a bonus film to close things out.
Rewatch the saudosos classics or catch them for the first time on the big screen.
