Set in a dystopian near-future Tokyo, Neo Sora’s striking feature explores a group of teenagers rebelling against societal expectations. The film is a vivid coming-of-age portrait, following best friends Yuta and Kou as they confront a world where AI surveillance is tightening under the yoke of oppressive authoritarianism. Infused with the raw energy and pulsing with a techno soundtrack, HAPPYEND is a hopeful, youthful vision of resistance and joy in the face of control.

For 2026, we present our year-long season 'Spotlight' celebrating four international female filmmakers through four dedicated programmes, each featuring three films.
We opened the season with the acclaimed Palestinian director Annemarie Jacir, following the incredible success of her recent feature Palestine 36.
Our next season, running from April to June, will be on the Italian visionary director Lina Wertmüller, who was the first female director to be nominated for the Academy Award for Best Director for her film Seven Beauties (1975).
Details of the remaining filmmakers will be announced throughout the year.
All Sunday screenings will include an introduction, with tickets priced at £10.
