Salusbury World: supporting refugees in our borough

We’re really proud to partner with this award-winning refugee project. Based in Brent, Salusbury World’s aim is to support and empower refugee children and families through mentoring, advice sessions, English classes and many other programmes.

At the Lexi we show a programme of films as part of Refugee Week in June, and host group screenings for kids as part of SW’s holiday club scheme. We also run an exclusive women-only film club to support SW’s English language courses.

Into Film: inspiring free screenings for Brent Schools

Into Film is an organisation that puts film at the heart of education in the UK, supporting teachers and programming screenings for children and young people across the country. Thanks to their dedicated team, we’re able to offer free schools screenings several times a year, often with filmmaker Q&As or special introductions.
