The Magic Faraway Tree follows Polly (Claire Foy), Tim (Andrew Garfield) and their three children - a modern family forced to relocate to the remote English countryside. As they adapt to their new lives, the children discover a magical tree and its extraordinary and eccentric residents including treasured characters Moonface (Nonso Anozie), Silky (Nicola Coughlan), Dame Washalot (Jessica Gunning) and Saucepan Man (Dustin Demri-Burns). At the top of the tree, they are transported to spectacular and fantastical lands and, through the joys and challenges of their adventures, the family learn to reconnect and value each other for the first time in years.

For 2026, we present our year-long season 'Spotlight' celebrating four international female filmmakers through four dedicated programmes, each featuring three films.
We opened the season with the acclaimed Palestinian director Annemarie Jacir, following the incredible success of her recent feature Palestine 36.
Our next season, running from April to June, will be on the Italian visionary director Lina Wertmüller, who was the first female director to be nominated for the Academy Award for Best Director for her film Seven Beauties (1975).
Details of the remaining filmmakers will be announced throughout the year.
All Sunday screenings will include an introduction, with tickets priced at £10.
Over one weekend, we'll be screening all 10 nominees for Best Picture at the Oscars 2026.
The Academy Awards will be presented on Sunday 15th March and this year we're rolling out the red carpet to all ten of the Best Picture nominees in the days before! Racking up a whopping 80 nominations between them all, don't miss your chance to catch BUGONIA, F1 THE MOVIE, FRANKENSTEIN, HAMNET, MARTY SUPREME, ONE BATTLE AFTER ANOTHER, THE SECRET AGENT, SENTIMENTAL VALUE, SINNERS and TRAIN DREAMS before the big night! If you haven't caught them yet then don't miss this last opportunity to see them all on the big screen between Friday 13th and Sunday 15th March.
As a lot of these films have been out for a little while tickets are only £10 but we've added a 'supporter' price of £15 too. If you're able to pay the larger amount that'd really help us to cover the costs of doing more of these one-off looking back projects.
