‘MAKE A SCENE’:
The Lexi Summer Film School
for young people aged 12-16
MON 11TH TO FRI 15TH AUGUST
DAILY SESSIONS, 1:30 - 4:30PM (3hrs)
Following on from the success of last year’s ‘Animation Reframed’, the Lexi’s Summer Film School for young people is back - and this year we’re getting hands-on with live-action filmmaking. Over the week, we’ll watch and unpack four fearless coming-of-age stories, exploring the rebellions, joys, and self-discoveries of teens on the big screen. Through lively discussions and practical mini-workshops, we’ll delve into key aspects of the filmmaking process (from writing to acting, to visual storytelling), building to ‘Making a Scene’ of our very own. If you’re a young person who makes your own movies, enjoys being creative, or just loves the cinema - then this is the summer course for you!
