Film fans! Why not volunteer at one of London’s most beloved picture palaces?
Our volunteers are the beating heart of the Lexi. As a volunteer you’ll make friends with fellow locals, contribute to great community projects and support our charity – and of course spend loads of time chatting about film! Think you might like to join us?
We’re looking for people who are able to commit to a minimum of one 3 hour shift per fortnight, and we offer 2 free cinema tickets in return. Volunteer duties include selling tickets & memberships; providing information about films and events; raising awareness of the charity we support and our community projects; bar duty; light cleaning and other front-of-house tasks to help keep the cinema running smoothly.
We are committed to providing a high quality experience for all volunteers, with work that would not otherwise be undertaken by a paid member of staff. We are a signatory of the London Volunteer Charter and have been used by Greater London Volunteering as a ‘best practice’ case study.
