THE LEXI HUB CAMPAIGN

We had a dream…

In 2018, the Lexi team embarked on a two-year campaign to fund and build The Lexi Hub – a brand new extension housing a 30-seat screening room and bar space, allowing us to expand our film programme and make more room for our community projects to flourish.

During those two years we were hit by the Covid pandemic and also a fire, but with the incredible support of our volunteers and the entire local community we made it through.

We’ve relied on the tireless support of our local Councillors alongside many other local supporters. Thank you all for seeing the value of investing in arts and culture, and the importance of keeping them accessible to all.

In 2020 we received major public funding from the London Borough of Brent, from the Mayor’s Fund and from the BFI’s Culture Recovery Fund, as well as the huge support of local residents and our regular customers.
