For our crowning birthday celebration, you voted for disco classic Saturday Night Fever.  Join the party!  Tickets include fizz on arrival and a slice of delicious birthday cake from local Den Bake Shop, and we'll have a brief introduction from our founder Sally Wilton before we dance head first into this classic piece of cinema history.

Saturday Night Fever was released in 1977, and has since grossed $285m worldwide. It's one of those films that demands to be seen on a big screen.  The soundtrack is one of the  top selling film albums of all time after remaining at No 1 for 24 consecutive weeks, reinvigorating the Bee Gees’ becalmed career, and John Travolta was one of the youngest actors to be nominated for the best actor Oscar.  But this deceptively dark drama is really about the dream of breaking out and through, with Travolta’s well-coiffed, white-suited Bay Ridge mook standing in for every talented, unacknowledged kid trying to stay alive.  The theme might be common, but this treatment is anything but!
