Nomad presents: Aliens

Cine-magic from our cine-sister under the stars in Queens Park

Showing Times

After floating in space for 57 years Lt. Ripley's (Sigourney Weaver) shuttle is chanced upon by a deep space salvage team.  Upon arriving at LV-426, the marines find only one survivor, a nine year old girl.  But even these battle-hardened marines with all the latest weaponry are no match for the hundreds of aliens that have invaded the colony.

"Action thrillers assail but rarely test us; this is the tautest, most provoking, and altogether most draining example ever made."  (The New Yorker)  Directed by James Cameron, this is one of those rare sequels which equal - surpass, even - the original film.

Saturday, 19th August; doors open at 7:00, film at 8:30.  Tickets include Concession (£10) and Standard (£14); no children are allowed as this is a 15 certificate.  Tickets are available here, from The Nomad's website, or on the 'door' on the night.  The entrance is via the Kingswood gate adjacent to the staff yard, opposite Montrose Avenue.
