When renowned crime novelist Harlan Thrombey (Christopher Plummer) is found dead at his estate just after his 85th birthday, the inquisitive and debonair Detective Benoit Blanc (Daniel Craig) is mysteriously engaged to investigate. From Harlan’s dysfunctional family to his devoted staff, Blanc sifts through a web of red herrings and self-serving lies to uncover the truth behind the writer's untimely death.

This fun modern-day murder mystery pays tribute to mystery mastermind Agatha Christie, and is the latest film from writer/director Rian Johnson (Brick, Looper, Star Wars: The Last Jedi). Johnson has chosen an impressive and recognisable cast for this ‘contemporary whodunnit’ film, full of unexpected twists and turns from start to finish.  Even better, clearly the cast had as much fun making it as we, the audience, have trying to second guess its serpentine developments.  Enjoy!
