In March 2020, citizens around the world were ordered to stay at home. For those with no home to go to an already desperate situation quickly became life threatening; everything and everyone had gone.
I’M STILL HERE is a film made to give people on the streets a voice during the whole of this unique time and highlights the efforts of one spontaneous collective of Londoners who defied the virus and walked out into the unknown to serve. The film tears down social barriers, asks penetrating questions about the true nature of our humanity and explores the opportunity that the COVID-19 pandemic presents us for real change.
After being selected for “The Spirit of Raindance Award’ at Raindance Film Festival 2024, I’M STILL HERE is now in competition at the British Independent Film Awards 2024 (BIFA) for BEST documentary, and the BIFA MAVERICK AWARD 2024.
