Very excited to discover your cinema and I planned to see BABIES this am, unfortunately was told the showing for reserved exclusively for parents and children. I run a festival and short of borrowing a child for the morning I was unable to come to the Lexi. I’m surprised you can afford to refuse members of the general public and the shortsight of your policies.

Guys, it doesn’t say on your website where the cinema is!

  • Lexi

Hi MSF UK – maps and transport info for Lexi here: http://thelexicinema.co.uk/lexi-community/contact-us/

Look forward to seeing you on Wednesday!

Hi, love the cinema and what you’re doing. Wondering whether you’ve heard about the Yann Arthus-Bertrand epic feature film: Home. It’s been seen by 19 million people around the world but has not been publicly seen in the UK. If you haven’t watched it already, the film can be viewed on You Tube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jqxENMKaeCU
It is a spectacular birds-eye polemicthat catalogues our impact on the earth’s surface and was distributed free in cinemas in most of the world (except Britain).
The Observer recently appealed to independent cinemas to organise special screenings and can be emailed at: magazine@observer.co.uk. I thought it would be wonderful if you could be one of the first UK cinemas to show it.

I have tickets but they are over a year old. Can I still use them? I have tried calling you, but no success.

  • Sue

Could you please show ticket prices for special events prominently on the relevant page BEFORE the booking stage? And whether there are reductions for members/seniors/etc?
Believe it or not, the price makes a difference to whether or not I want to proceed to booking…
    Otherwise, Lexi’s great!

I just want to say that I have found using this website very confusing in relation to booking a ticket for an event. The site just isn’t that clear. In the end I decided to call you up to book my ticket which took me about 3 minutes on the phone to do! Far less than the 15 minutes I had spent trying to find the “buy now” button for the tickets online (or anything resembling one).
I hope this comment helps you to improve your site and in the long term make you more successful.

Thank you for taking the time to get in touch. Sorry the website was so impenetrable! It is very useful to hear this from customers; so often we don’t have any idea of how things are working until such a complaint pops up.
Your frustration is noted – and will help us to improve our service. In the meantime, I’m glad to hear that the helpful folk at the end of the booking number were swift and efficient – where the website was not.
