With your outdoor screenings, what happens if the weather bad, rain etc?

  • Anonymous

All our equipment is waterproof, so the show will go ahead in pretty much all weather. The only thing that would cause us to cancel would be high winds which threatened to blow the inflatable screen away! As always in the great British summer, it’s a good idea to have a brolly close to hand… Hope to see you at one of the shows.

Hallo everyone! I see that everything goes well, many changes! I miss you all and I miss you the Lexi, hope you are great! A big hug from Hamburg!

One criticism – and only one criticism- of the Lexi is that the website does not display a film’s certificate in any obvious place. I did find one once, but not now. So how can we breed a new generation of Lexi-lovers if we’re not sure whether we can bring them to see films?

  • Caronelson

Hi i booked on line for Saturday’s Tinker tailor,at 6.30

i cannot now find the booking

could you have a look to see if my details are there?

GEORGE HARRISON BIOPIC Why one night only?Disappointed but not surprised to see that this is sold out – will you be showing this film on another date?

  • Matthew

Hi just to say how disappointed I am.
I’ve just been told my loyalty card is no longer valid!
Having faithfully got it stamped over the years and not claimed any of my free screenings I think it makes a mockery of the word ‘loyalty’

Trying to book Leonardo on 8 November and booking link not working.
Not able to book November opera events for same reason.
Is there a reason for this.
    Do not want to miss.

The History of Lovers Rock is a film?Documentary that I feel would go down very well in the Lexi, I am local and part of the Kensal Town Fund, a local fund raising group,
    Kind regards
    Hugh Nott

  • Carin

We agree! Very happy to say that we have The Story of Lover’s Rock – complete with a Q&A attended by the director – showling on 16 Nov, at 18:15. Many thanks for your suggestion.

This was a really quality post.I wasn’t aware of the many ripples and
depth to this story until I surfed here through Google! Great job.

  • babs

how old do you have to be be to volunteer for a couple of hours a week ?

  • Carin

    Hi Babs,

Thank you for your enquiry. We accept volunteers over the age of 18.

    Best wishes,

    The Lexi

  • Gregry

Do wish you had a real telephone number that worked. Trying to book seats on your 0871 premium line and hang on several minutes before getting cut off. Apparently you’re showing The Artist from 2nd March but no mention on your website and how to book tickets?

  • Mark

Presumably you’ve seen the short film played at the start of each performance explaining the Lexi’s charitable status, and how any profits are spent improving the lives of young people in Africa ?

Still want a free ticket ? Send me your address and I’ll put 7 measly pounds through your front door

  • Tash

will you be showing This is Not a Film?

  • Cheryl

It would be good if you could have secure on-line booking.  I never feel comfortable using the website to book, without it being secure.

  • Carin

It’s not in our schedule at the moment although it does sound very interesting! This is the sort of film we might pick up 4 weeks-ish after release for just a few screenings, when the costs of showing it are less. With only 75 seats we have to keep a close eye on things like minimum guarantees and percentages.

  • The Lexi

We certainly do have a secure booking process!!! Book away with peace of mind; the booking process uses SSL to secure the connection and the websales area iframe is secured with a GlobalSign certificate.

  • Jane Boyle – member

Just to let you know-I saw ‘Marley’ at the Lexi on Friday and looked to see where else it was showing. The Lexi is not mentioned on the main list of London cinemas showing this film.

    Yours sincerely,

Jane Boyle. Ps.I’m a member, got my password wrong so having to post as guest!
