This exclusive preview screening will be followed by a satellite Q&A with the enduringly popular Hockney, live from his LA studio where he still works seven days a week.

"An engaging and affectionate tribute to one of the art world's most loveable characters." Wendy Ide, The Times

For the very first time, artist David Hockey has opened up his personal archive of photographs and film.  Full of insight and intimacy, the result is an extraordinary account of this charismatic and incorrigibly unconventional figure. It traces Hockney's eventful journey from working class Bradford to poolside Hollywood and beyond. The film also explores how his upbringing informed some of the openly gay artist's most renowned work - and also helped him to overcome problems in his private. Acclaimed director Randall Wright's credits include award-winning documentaries 'David Hockney: Secret Knowledge' and 'Lucian Freud: A Painted Life'.  To be relished!
